I took this photo off the coast of Gloucester, MA while on a whale watching trip. A mother Humpback whale and her calf were playing in the water near our boat. Whale watching is one of my favorite activities- and this was the most special trip I ever had. The mother and calf were so close, that I felt the spray from their blowholes! Luckily, during this trip, I won the opportunity to go again and I am really looking forward to it.
