This photo of a female lion was taken in Kruger National Park, South Africa. As I was photographing the male of the pride, I heard leaf litter crunching behind my safari vehicle. I turn around, and she is not 10 feet away, crouched down and ready to pounce! Luckily I was the one who "captured" her!
