This photo is of a room in the Adem Jashari home in Kosovo. On March 5th, 1998, the Special Anti-Terrorism Unit of Serbia attacked Adem Jashari and his family, a leader of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK/KLA). The women and children of his family hid here, awaiting their fate. Since that moment, these rooms have remained untouched- a place frozen in time.
