I paused to take a photo of this statue of Fehmi Agani, one of the leaders of the Democratic League of Kosovo who was taken by police whilst escaping, only to be found dead a few days later in 1999. A child was playing in front of the statue, and his mother said something to him. I assumed it was to tell him to move, but instead, he proceeded to climb up the statue and make the Albanian double-headed eagle with his hands. While I very rarely take photos of humans, this made for one of my favorite and most powerful photos.
